Lee Hill Early Learning Center Lee, New Hampshire Leadership Opportunity Lee Hill Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Childcare Center Director to lead our program. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who values high-quality early childhood education, builds positive relationships with families and staff, and is committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for children. Position Summary The Childcare Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations, supporting and mentoring staff, maintaining strong family relationships, and promoting a positive culture throughout the program. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of center operations, including staffing, enrollment, and program management. Ensure compliance with New Hampshire childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for teachers. Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive workplace culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and community partners. Manage enrollment, tours, and family communications. Maintain accurate records and required documentation. Develop and implement policies and procedures that support program quality. Monitor classroom environments and curriculum implementation. Collaborate with the school board and leadership team to achieve program goals. Manage budgets, expenses, and operational resources as assigned. Qualifications Must meet New Hampshire licensing requirements for a Childcare Center Director. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Previous leadership or management experience in a childcare or educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
