Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant childcare community as a Childcare Center Director, where you will lead with passion, innovation, and strategic vision to create a nurturing environment for children and staff alike. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership by setting strategic goals that enhance program quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones and foster creativity among children. Manage the center's budget, oversee financial planning, and ensure responsible allocation of resources to support program objectives. Lead fundraising initiatives to secure additional resources, grants, or donations that support program growth and community engagement. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain a high-caliber team. Oversee classroom activities to ensure adherence to educational standards while supporting teachers with classroom management and instructional strategies. Build strong partnerships with families through effective communication, public speaking engagements, and community outreach efforts. Experience Proven experience in education administration or early childhood management with a focus on curriculum development and program oversight. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams of teachers and staff within a childcare or educational setting. Extensive working knowledge of classroom teaching, supervision, and classroom experience with young children. Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing organizational growth initiatives such as fundraising efforts. Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate vision, policies, and program benefits to diverse audiences. Experience in supervising staff, managing compliance with licensing regulations, and implementing educational best practices. Qualifications Required:
Must meet applicable state Director Certification requirements Bachelor's Degree, preferably in early childcare education or a related field CDA is a plus Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in a licensed childcare program Understanding of state subsidy programs and contracts is a big plus Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by the State and company regulations and procedures 1st Aid and CPR(infant and child) certified within the 1st 90 days of employment Maintain continuing education requirements per company and state requirements Excellent leadership, time management and organizational skills required Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Applications Experience with managing budgets and implementing marketing program Understanding of general business procedures. Solid business acumen, management, and problem thinking skills Be enthusiastic and adaptable Marketing efforts to grow the enrollment of the centerPay:
