Job Description

Jovie Nannies of Las Vegas is seeking a sharp, organized, and highly flexible Nanny to support a wonderful family relocating to a gated community in Las Vegas this May. This is a dynamic role perfect for a nanny who thrives on routine, loves infant and toddler development, and excels as the "lead" in a busy household. The ideal candidate is someone who "just gets it"—you pick up on household patterns quickly, anticipate needs before they are spoken, and take pride in maintaining a structured, tidy environment.
The Details Start Date:
Mid-May.
Schedule:
High flexibility required. Expect a 5-day work week (likely Tuesday-Saturday) to accommodate the parents' athletic coaching schedules.
Hours:
Shifts range within an 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM window. Full-time hours are guaranteed.
The Environment:
A professional, athletic household with a strict "no-shoes" policy and a focus on active, outdoor play. The Children Toddler (15 Months): A social, observant walker who thrives on a regimented nap and meal schedule. She loves books and outdoor play; she needs an engaging caregiver to help her navigate the transition of a move and a new sibling. Infant (7 Weeks): A healthy, happy sleeper. Care includes bottle feeding (expressed milk), tummy time, and specialized infant exercises to support her development.
What You'll Do Lead Caregiving:
Take the reins on daily routines, including a very specific sleep and nap schedule for the toddler.
Engagement:
Plan "out of the house" afternoon adventures to parks or the backyard to keep the toddler stimulated and active.
Household Support:
Keep the "engine" running by washing bottles (frequent rotation needed), handling the children's laundry, and tidying play/eating areas.
Light Meal Prep:
Prepare healthy lunches for the toddler and provide basic dinner prep for the parents (e.g., prepping ingredients so dinner is ready to cook when they get home).
Pet Support:
Assist with a very senior, low-maintenance dog who just needs to be let into the yard occasionally. Jovie Minimum Requirements To be considered for this or any position with Jovie, candidates must meet the following:
Experience:
At least 2 years of documented childcare experience (infant experience required for this specific role).
References:
Minimum of 3-5 stellar, checkable childcare references.
Transportation:
Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Vetting:
Must pass a comprehensive background screen.
Eligibility:
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Health & Safety:
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
Vaccinations:
Up-to-date Tdap vaccination is required for this household.
Job Benefits:
Benefits package for fulltime employees
Job Certifications:
CPR and FA Qualifications:
High School + Child Dev, Infants + toddlers
