About the Children Each child is in a unique and exciting stage of development: 6-year-old boy: Creative, expressive, and highly imaginative. He thrives with engaged, patient caregivers. He experiences big emotions and benefits from calm, grounded support. Experience with neurodivergent children is a strong plus (or openness to supporting neurodiverse needs is essential). 4-year-old boy: Easygoing, social, and joyful. He is adaptable and loves connecting with others. 18-month-old girl: Happy, curious, and easygoing. She is in a sweet, exploratory toddler stage and is a joy to be around. What Your Days Will Look Like This role is centered around the after-school and early evening routine , creating a calm and structured transition for the children.
Typical responsibilities include:
School pickup for the older children Supporting after-school routines (snacks, homework, activities) Providing a steady, emotionally grounded presence during busy hours Engaging all three children in age-appropriate care and play Light household awareness (tidying, resetting spaces, anticipating needs) Occasionally helping with dinner prep or household flow During the summer months, the role expands to include some full-day care, especially during the weeks when the oldest is not in camp. Schedule & Commitment Now through
May:
Tuesday & Wednesday, 1:00 PM-8:00 PM (school pickup + afternoon/evening care)
Summer:
Expanded schedule with occasional full-day care Fall and beyond: Minimum 2 afternoons per week with flexibility
Guaranteed Hours:
