Job Description

Posting Details Position Information Job Title Early Childhood Education Internship-Child Care Center Department Childhood/Early Childhood Education Job Description/Duties The internship will count as the student's placement for EDU 331, so it will cover the required 60 hours that students have to complete for this class. Most importantly, interns will be part of a hands-on learning and work experience where they will increase their understanding of teaching young children. Under a mentor, job duties will include the plan and conduct an effective child development program in a safety conscious manner to meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of each child at their developmental level in accordance with the goals, philosophy, and curriculum plan set forth by the center as outlined in the NAEYC criteria. Days/Hours Needed Availability between 7:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday to Friday. Time schedule must demonstrate you have at least 12 hours per week available for the internship. Campus Location/Bldg.
