5-year-old daughter while parents work from home. The family also has a newborn, though grandparents will mainly assist with the baby during the day. This is a wonderful role for someone patient, playful, and nurturing who understands that the toddler may need a gradual adjustment period when bonding with a new caregiver. The family is looking for someone fun, trustworthy, and experienced who can become a comforting and positive presence in the home.
Responsibilities:
Engaging care for active 2.5-year-old (Grandparents take the newborn most days) Playtime, learning activities, crafts, reading, and routines Helping support potty training Assisting with snacks/meals for the toddler Being an extra set of hands while parents work remotely Helping child build comfort and trust with a caregiver outside of family
Light tidying related to the children ✨
Requirements:
Experience with toddlers required CPR certified Education, daycare, preschool, or teaching background strongly preferred Fun, patient, warm personality Fluent English required Must be local or reasonably close to East Northport Comfortable working alongside parents and grandparents in the home No driving of children required
