A sweet young family in Harrison, NY is seeking a full-time live-out nanny for their 2 children ages 3.5-years-old and 3-months-old. The schedule will be 40-45 hours a week with weekends always off. It will be 4 days a week Monday through Thursday 7am-6pm; come the fall when the Mother goes back to work from maternity leave, the schedule will be from 6:30am/7am until 5pm/6pm; the weekday off then will be Tuesdays or Fridays. Their home is within walkable distance to Harrison train station for a candidate who would need to commute or if the candidate lives-in and wants easy access to public transport for time on the weekends in the City. The family has a cat and a dog (German Shepherd/former seeing eye dog who is a sweetheart) so the candidate to hire cannot be allergic to pets. Responsibilities All standard care for a toddler and baby: Snack prep Meal prep for the children and feeding them nutritious and age-appropriate meals Laundry for the children Keeping their spaces/rooms/play area tidy Taking the children on walks or to activities as needed Driving the toddler to and from his preschool (he attends 3 hours a day 5 days a week but in the fall it will be 5 hours a day) Reading to the children Playing with the children Overseeing developmental milestones Keeping the children safe, secure, and feeling loved! Requirements Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record The family strongly values a nanny who is trustworthy, reliable, and loving Must have experience caring for a toddler + infant at the same time before Salary and Benefits $35-43/hour 2 weeks paid vacation Major holidays off and paid Monthly healthcare stipend of $200 Car for use when working
