Job Description

June:
✔️ Ideally 6:30 AM
  • 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM ✔️ Minimum availability of 2:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM is acceptable July (Camp Schedule): ✔️ Camp pickup between 4:00 PM
  • 4:30 PM ✔️ Approximate hours: 3:30 PM
  • 7:30 PM ✔️ Family will be away the week of June 28th ✔️ Summer camp begins the week of July 6th A family in Garden City is seeking a temporary summer nanny to provide support until their long-term nanny arrives.
This is a great opportunity for a college student, education major, teacher on summer break, or experienced nanny looking for temporary work. The family is flexible and would love extra support with after-school routines, homework, meals, and summer camp transportation.
Responsibilities:
Supervise children after school and camp Homework help and educational support Prepare snacks and simple dinners for the children Feed children and clean up after meals Help maintain afternoon and evening routines Keep children engaged and active throughout the summer ✨
Requirements:
Experience with school-age children preferred Education background or current education student is a plus Reliable, responsible, and engaging Comfortable helping with homework and routines Strong communication skills
Additional Details:
Live-out preferred, but live-in accommodations may be available for the right candidate Flexible family willing to work around the right person's availability Excellent temporary position with a supportive family This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for meaningful summer work with great kids and a flexible family. ️
