Job Description

Overview A kind and caring Upper East Side family is seeking a warm, highly capable full-time nanny to join their household in New York. They have two young children, ages 4 months and 2.5 years, and are looking for someone who brings genuine expertise in child development and early childhood care. An educational background, whether in early childhood education, Montessori, teaching, or a related field, is a strong plus, though the priority above all is someone who is exceptional with children and deeply committed to the role. This is a position for a nanny who takes real pride in their craft. The family is open to both live-in and live-out arrangements, and candidates interested in either are encouraged to apply. A live-in option is available for the right person. The schedule will be approximately 40 to 50 hours per week, with the understanding that hours and timing may shift as the family's needs evolve, particularly as the older child transitions to full-time school in September. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny ready to be a true partner in the daily life of a growing family. The household has a second caregiver in place, and this person will work collaboratively within that structure. The family values consistency, professionalism, and genuine warmth, and is looking for someone who is in it for the long term.
