Nanny

Job Description A warm family in the Upper East Side (Manhattan, New York) is seeking a full-time nanny to provide excellent care for their 7-month-old. This position would be ideal for candidates who are in search of a long-term, stable position with the intention of growing with the family. The family is seeking a knowledgeable, kind and confident nanny and are excited to welcome the right long-term fit into their home. The family has one work from home parent, so comfortability sharing spaces, ability to make proactive decisions, and a demonstrated nurturing ability are key qualities for a successful candidate. Schedule & Compensation $28•30/ hour, DOE Guaranteed 40 hours/ week (potential for occasional overtime) Start date: July 20, 2026

Schedule:

Monday•Friday, 9am•5pm

2 paid work weeks of PTO, 1 paid work week of sick time, major holidays off (if it falls in schedule), guaranteed hours, 1.5x rate for any hours worked over 40/week, OMNI card for commuting Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging and nurturing care for infant Create a calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration Support daily routines and transitions including mealtimes, feedings and naps Maintain organization and cleanliness related to the children Ideal Candidate/ Requirements Proven ability to care for infants under 1 years old Demonstrated understanding of infants and early childhood milestones/development Genuine care-giving ability, with an active and engaging approach to nannying Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency and cleanliness Values building trust and connection with parents Pediatric CPR certified (or willingness to obtain before start date) At least 2 excellent, recent, professional references, or 1 excellent professional reference if their previous role lasted longer than 3 years Able to pass a background check (completed by the candidate, after being provided with a contingent offer) Up to date on relevant vaccinations and willing to provide documentation (Chickenpox, MMR, T-Dap, Hep-A, Hep-B, Flu) Paid, childcare experience, ideally in a private setting lasting at least 2+ years, ideally consisting of caring for a child from infancy through toddlerhood Strong proficiency in English, must be fluent

Pay:

$28.00•$30.00 per hour
