1 Toddler (15 months) from the Upper East Side! Overview This Upper East Side family is looking for a warm, reliable sitter for their happy 15-month-old daughter. They're hoping to find someone who can become their regular weekend caregiver, with occasional weekday date nights as well. This is a great opportunity for a sitter who enjoys playful toddlers, reading together, and building a consistent relationship with a family. The Ideal Candidate for this Job You are warm, attentive, and experienced with toddlers. You enjoy getting on the floor to play, reading books together, and following a child's cues while maintaining structure. You're dependable and interested in building an ongoing relationship with the family. Schedule Weekend care (Saturday or Sunday), typically 12 PM-5 PM or 12 PM-6 PM Occasional weekday date nights Family would love to establish a regular Saturday sitter Start date: Weekend of March 28 About the Children Girl, 15 months: A joyful and active toddler with over 20 words already. She loves playtime, reading books, and recently started infant swim classes. She takes two naps per day and generally sleeps well. She's a bit of a picky eater (very normal for her age), but otherwise has no allergies or health concerns. She's a very happy child who responds well to a consistent routine and engaged play. Responsibilities Provide attentive toddler care, including playtime, reading, meals/snacks, and supporting the child's daily routine. The family follows wake windows and adjusts the day based on when she wakes in the morning. The sitter will help maintain a calm, engaging environment while following the baby's cues and established routines. For now, parents will handle bedtime, as they have not yet had another caregiver do it. Additional Information The family lives in an elevator building. There is a friendly 27-lb dog in the home who may bark excitedly when new people arrive, but settles quickly and simply enjoys attention.
