Just for Kids is a community centered non-profit organization that provides before and after school programming in the Amherst, Cheektowaga Central, Cheektowaga Sloan, Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga), Grand Island, Sweet Home, and Williamsville Central School Districts as well as select private schools in Amherst, Buffalo, Swormville, and Hamburg. We're hiring for the 2026-2027 school year!
Available Positions:
Team Leaders:
Supervise and engage children with fun, age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety in a structured environment.
Art/Sport/Music Specialists:
Lead exciting and creative activities, fostering a love for art, sports, and music in a safe, engaging setting.
Floaters:
Provide support across multiple programs as needed, helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for kids.
Program Teachers:
Delivering engaging activities for children in a safe, and structured environment. Help with supervision, administration, and act as the point of contact when the Program Manager is absent.
PreK Specialists:
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities for PreK 3 & 4 students, supporting their growth and learning.
Assistant Program Manager:
Help manage daily operations and staff, stepping in as the point of contact during the Program Manager's absence.
Program Manager:
Lead program operations, manage staff, and design/implement engaging activities to ensure a safe, structured environment for all participants. Ready to Make a Difference? Apply Today!
Schedule:
After school programs follow the District/School calendar. Monday through Friday, from dismissal (1:30pm/2:30pm) through the close of program (5:00pm/6:00pm). Start and end times vary based on district/location. Before school programs run approximately 7:00-8:45am/9:00am depending on district/location. Staff work one or both shifts based on their preference.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Minimum of one year of experience working with children. Art/Sport/Music Specialist
  • minimum of one year of experience working with children in the relevant field or activity. Program Teachers
  • minimum of two years of experience working with children and pursuing or completed degree in Elementary Education, Child Development, or other related field of study preferred PreK Specialist
  • minimum of two years of experience working with children and 9 credit hours in a childcare or related field. Assistant Program Managers
  • minimum of two years working in childcare field. Completed or pursuing degree in Elementary Education, Child Development, or other related field of study preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Program Managers
  • minimum of two years working in childcare field and 1-year supervisory experience required.
Completed or pursuing degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or other related field of study preferred.
