In this dynamic role, you will serve as a flexible and dependable team member, supporting various classrooms and age groups within our early childhood education environment. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help create a nurturing, safe, and engaging space for young learners to explore, grow, and thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood development while making a positive impact on children's lives. Duties Assist in multiple classrooms across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Support lead teachers with daily activities, lesson plans, and classroom management to ensure a smooth flow of the day Engage children in educational play, creative activities, and social interactions that promote development and learning Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Provide attentive supervision during outdoor play, nap times, meals, and transitions throughout the day Support individualized care plans for children with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored activities Communicate effectively with parents and team members to share updates on children's progress and needs Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive behavior management techniques Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and behavior support strategies Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for children while advancing your career in early childhood education! Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
