Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education center. In this vital role, you will cultivate a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your leadership will ensure compliance with licensing standards, foster a collaborative team culture, and promote best practices in early childhood education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while guiding a dedicated team of educators and staff. Responsibilities Develop and implement high-quality curriculum plans that support early childhood development and learning objectives Lead, mentor, and supervise teaching staff to ensure effective classroom management and instructional excellence Maintain compliance with all state and local licensing regulations, health and safety standards Foster positive relationships with families, providing regular communication about children's progress and center activities Oversee enrollment processes, including marketing efforts to attract new families and managing waitlists as needed Manage daily operations such as scheduling, supply procurement, and maintaining a clean, safe environment Coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance teaching skills and educational practices Experience Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable Proven background in education administration within a licensed childcare or preschool setting Extensive university experience working with students or young learners Demonstrated success in leading teams of educators or administrative staff in an educational environment Strong understanding of curriculum development, classroom management, and developmental milestones for young children This role is perfect for someone eager to lead with energy and purpose—driving excellence in early childhood education while fostering a warm community atmosphere.
