In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your energy and dedication will support their developmental milestones, foster positive behavior, and encourage a love of learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in childcare, early childhood education, and classroom management. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support children's physical, emotional, and social development through engaging activities and positive interactions Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and outdoor play Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress and needs Support behavior management strategies to foster respectful and cooperative behavior among children Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is highly desirable Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus Classroom experience including activity planning and classroom management is beneficial Certifications such as first aid or CPR are advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong communication skills and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
