Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant Exton, PA | Tuesdays & Wednesdays Required | $25-$30/Hour A warm, professional family in Exton, Pennsylvania is seeking a dependable and engaging Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to provide afternoon care for their young child, who will be approximately 2.5 years old when the position begins. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the toddler stage and can bring warmth, creativity, structure, and consistency into the home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caregiver seeking a long-term position with guaranteed weekly hours. Schedule Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required.

Typical hours will be approximately:

2:00 or 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Approximately 10 guaranteed hours per week Potential opportunity to add a third afternoon in the future Occasional evening or weekend hours may be offered with advance notice

Anticipated Start Date:

September 2026 Compensation $25-$30 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. The family plans to guarantee approximately 10 hours per week, meaning the nanny will be paid for the agreed-upon weekly schedule even when the family does not require care.

Ideal Candidate Has at least 3 years of professional childcare experience Has strong toddler or preschool-age experience Is warm, nurturing, patient, and emotionally mature Can confidently maintain routines, structure, and age-appropriate boundaries Is highly reliable and punctual Takes initiative without requiring frequent direction Enjoys creating meaningful, screen-free activities Communicates professionally and collaboratively Is comfortable assisting with both childcare and light household support Is seeking a dependable, long-term position Is a non-smoker Has a valid driver's license, safe driving history, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance Is CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified before starting Allergy Awareness The child has a peanut allergy and is currently receiving immunotherapy. The selected candidate must be highly attentive, safety-conscious, and comfortable following all family-provided allergy prevention and emergency procedures. Prior food-allergy experience is preferred but not required for an otherwise strong candidate who is willing to learn. Additional Opportunity The family may occasionally invite the nanny to travel with them on family vacations. Travel is optional and would be discussed separately in advance.
