Schedule:
Schedule can be flexible to the nanny's needs. Minimum of 2 days. Maximum of 3 days. Falling between Mon-Fri 6-8 hours per day. Description A warm, busy household is seeking a nurturing, proactive, and upbeat part-time nanny to support a growing family with four young children (including a newborn arriving this summer). Starting in mid-September, this position offers flexible scheduling (2-3 days per week) and the opportunity to become a trusted, long-term part of a family's rhythm during an exciting season of growth. About the Role This is a hands-on, engaging childcare position focused on creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for three young children during the day, with a newborn joining the mix. The caregiver will work alongside a parent who is often home, providing both practical support and encouragement for balance and self-care. The family values clear communication, mutual respect, and a positive, team-oriented dynamic. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care for young children, including a toddler and preschool-aged siblings Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (imaginative play, crafts, outdoor time) Support daily routines, including meals, snacks, and nap/rest times Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, dishes, children's laundry) Assist with meal prep for children (and occasional family support depending on schedule) Help with organization tasks such as toy or clothing rotation alongside a parent Encourage independence, creativity, and gentle transitions (no rushing!)
