Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Childcare Business Partner/Investor to support the growth, oversight, and long-term success of two childcare center locations. This role is ideal for someone with business acumen, leadership experience, and an interest in the childcare/education industry. This is not an hourly or salaried role. Compensation will be structured as a contracted profit-sharing partnership, based on center performance, growth, and agreed-upon benchmarks. The partner will provide high-level operational oversight, support site directors, strengthen compliance systems, and help maximize profitability while maintaining quality care and licensing standards. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight Provide leadership support to directors at two childcare locations Monitor day-to-day operations through weekly check-ins and site visits Help create systems for efficiency, staffing, enrollment, and accountability Support problem-solving for operational challenges Compliance and Licensing Ensure centers remain in compliance with state childcare regulations Monitor staff files, child files, ratios, safety logs, trainings, and inspections Prepare centers for licensing visits, audits, and monitoring reviews Implement systems to reduce compliance risks Financial Growth and Profitability Review budgets, payroll trends, expenses, and revenue opportunities Identify ways to increase enrollment and improve retention Support cost control strategies without sacrificing quality Assist owner with long-term expansion planning Leadership and Staff Development Coach directors on leadership, communication, and management practices Assist with hiring systems, onboarding, and staff accountability Help build positive workplace culture and reduce turnover Strategic Growth Support branding, community partnerships, and marketing strategies Explore opportunities for grants, contracts, and additional revenue streams Help position centers for future scaling or expansion Requirements Experience in business operations, management, or entrepreneurship Experience in childcare, education, healthcare, franchising, or multi-site operations preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to interpret financial reports and growth opportunities Knowledge of compliance systems or willingness to learn childcare regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to commit consistent oversight time weekly Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in profit-sharing growth model Compensation Structure Contracted profit-sharing agreement Percentage of monthly or quarterly net profits based on negotiated terms Potential equity discussions based on investment level and long-term value added Performance incentives tied to growth milestones Ideal Candidate Someone who wants to build wealth through ownership style partnership, help strengthen an established childcare brand, and play a major role in scaling two centers successfully.
