Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Child Care Program to lead and oversee our early childhood education initiative. This vital role involves managing the daily operations of childcare services, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging space for children, families, and staff alike. As the Director, you will set the tone for excellence in childcare, implement educational standards, and ensure compliance with all licensing requirements while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Duties Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive childcare programs that promote early childhood development and learning. Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of childcare staff to maintain high-quality service delivery. Ensure all activities adhere to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies. Foster positive relationships with families by providing regular communication, support, and resources related to their children's growth and well-being. Oversee classroom management strategies to create a safe, inclusive environment conducive to learning and development. Coordinate curriculum planning that incorporates best practices in early childhood education, including preschool experience and toddler care. Manage program budgets, procurement of supplies, and maintenance of facilities to support optimal operations. Conduct ongoing staff development focused on caregiving techniques such as behavior management, working with children with disabilities or special needs, and classroom experience. Skills Extensive knowledge of Early Childhood Development education and principles and best practices. Proven experience in managing daycare or preschool programs with a focus on infant care, toddler care, and preschool age groups. Strong leadership abilities with excellent classroom management skills and the capacity to motivate staff. Ability to implement safety protocols including first aid certification and emergency response procedures. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, licensing agencies, and community partners. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Demonstrated competence in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting that translate into effective program oversight. Knowledge of behavior management strategies tailored for young children in diverse settings. Pay:
$1,500.00 - $2,300.00 per month
