Childcare Center Opener

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Childcare Center Opener to join our team and help start each day with enthusiasm and care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing the center for daily activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children, and supporting early childhood development from the moment the doors open. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will set the tone for a productive and nurturing day for both children and staff. Duties Open the childcare center promptly each morning, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for children's arrival Greet children, parents, and staff with warmth and professionalism, establishing a positive first impression Conduct safety checks of play areas, classrooms, and equipment to maintain a secure environment Prepare age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development in line with early childhood education standards Assist with diapering, feeding, and supervising infants and toddlers to ensure their comfort and safety Manage classroom setup including materials organization and readiness for scheduled activities Collaborate with teachers and caregivers to implement behavior management strategies and support children with special needs or disabilities Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate any concerns or incidents to appropriate staff members Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children through nannying or babysitting roles preferred Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and efficiently prepare the center for daily operations Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members Join us as a Childcare Center Opener to make a meaningful difference at the start of each day!
