Preparing wholesome, child-friendly meals and snacks each day, blending your own creative recipes with approved menus that support growing bodies and curious taste buds. Carefully monitoring food service details (tracking allergies, dietary needs, meal counts, and CACFP requirements) to ensure compliance and consistency in every dish served. Partnering closely with teachers and families to share menu information, support children's needs, and contribute to a well-rounded, nurturing care experience. Maintaining a sparkling clean, safe kitchen environment that meets all health, sanitation, and childcare licensing standards. And you're able to... Move comfortably between the kitchen and classrooms to support smooth mealtimes, connect with children, and ensure food is served safely and efficiently. Stay flexible and engaged throughout the day, supporting meal prep, service, and cleanup in a variety of environments and conditions with energy and care. Safely lift and carry kitchen supplies, food deliveries, and equipment as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. Set up, organize, and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and food service area—keeping everything in its place and up to health, safety, and licensing standards. Follow strict food safety and sanitation practices, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness, to ensure every meal is prepared and served with the highest level of care.
