Position Type:
Live-out in Austin, with significant travel required A private family based in Austin, Texas is seeking a polished, experienced, and highly flexible Russian-speaking professional nanny to provide attentive, loving care for their two young children: a 2-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. The family is seeking local Austin-area candidates only for this role. This is a live-out position when the family is in Austin, with significant domestic and/or international travel required. The position begins July 2, and candidates must be available to travel to the family's location at the start of the role if needed. The ideal candidate is calm, warm, emotionally grounded, and highly organized. This role requires someone who understands toddler and infant development, can confidently manage daily routines, and can bring structure without being rigid. The family values a nanny who is proactive, discreet, trustworthy, and able to anticipate needs before the children, the bags, and the stroller all form a tiny union. This is a fully staffed UHNW home, so professionalism and discretion are essential. The right candidate will be comfortable working as part of a larger household team while maintaining strong boundaries, excellent communication, and a child-focused approach.
Responsibilities include:
Providing loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for both children Following and supporting routines for meals, naps, bedtime, outings, and activities Planning age-appropriate play, Montessori-inspired learning, outdoor time, and enriching experiences Supporting emotional regulation, gentle discipline, independence, and toddler development Assisting with child-related packing, unpacking, travel organization, and logistics Maintaining tidy and organized child-related spaces, including bedrooms, play areas, diapering areas, and children's belongings Traveling with the family and providing consistent care while away from home Ensuring safety, supervision, and emotional security at all times Ideal candidates will have: Strong experience caring for toddlers and infants Fluency in Russian, or the ability to communicate comfortably in Russian Professional nanny experience in private homes, preferably UHNW or fully staffed households A valid passport and the ability to travel freely A calm, grounded, and flexible personality The ability to lift and carry a baby, stroller, luggage, and child-related travel gear confidently A clean background check and excellent references Strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs A valid driver's license is a plus Additional language skills, especially Spanish, are a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny who is experienced, discreet, travel-ready, and confident supporting two young children in a dynamic, high-touch household.
