In this energetic role, you will provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children of various ages, supporting their growth and development through playful learning and attentive caregiving. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive environment where children feel valued, secure, and inspired to explore their world. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education while fostering joyful experiences for children and their families. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, meals, nap times, and transitions to ensure their safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, infant care, and preschool experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and creativity Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily activities Apply behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Assist with classroom setup, activity planning, and educational support to foster early childhood education principles Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health guidelines, to ensure a secure environment for all children Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education practices is essential Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a valuable asset Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a positive attitude Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and families effectively Previous experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children will help you excel in this role
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
