Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the child care center
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Supervise, lead, and support teachers and support staff
  • Manage staffing schedules, classroom ratios, and daily center coverage
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout the center
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Assist with enrollment, tours, parent communication, and family support
  • Monitor curriculum implementation and classroom quality
  • Oversee incident reporting, center documentation, and required records
  • Lead staff meetings, trainings, coaching, and performance follow-up
  • Support overall center operations and program success Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of previous Child Care Director experience required
  • Experience in a licensed child care center required
  • Strong knowledge of child care licensing regulations and minimum standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing staff, scheduling, enrollment, and daily operations
  • Flexible schedule availability, including opening or closing shifts as needed
  • Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
  • Must meet all state qualifications required to serve as Center Director Ideal Candidate
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Confident decision-maker with problem-solving ability
  • Passionate about early childhood education
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Committed to providing excellent care and support to children, families, and staff
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$10.00 - $14.00 per hour
