Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for our children in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. This role involves creating a positive atmosphere that promotes learning, development, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. As a full-time caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting families by managing daily routines, fostering growth, and ensuring a healthy and happy environment. A reliable car is essential and the ideal candidate will be a non-smoker. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including an 11 month old and a 4 year old - the 11 month old is very mobile and loves to be held, and the 4 year old is very active Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing light cleaning and tidying up after children, such as putting dishes in the dishwasher and cleaning up toys Administer first aid when necessary and handle minor health concerns promptly Assist with potty training, nap schedules, diaper changing, and age-appropriate activities Plan and execute age-appropriate outings, playdates, and developmental activities; outdoor play is a must Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in routines and discipline strategies Foster a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times Two dogs that are kenneled in the house; taking them out to use the restroom and feeding them if needed. Skills Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles, especially with infants and preschool-aged children Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond calmly in emergencies Strong skills in meal preparation and understanding of nutrition for young children Ability to perform light cleaning duties related to childcare areas Excellent communication skills to work effectively with parents and children alike Patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude toward caregiving tasks Familiarity with daycare practices, babysitting techniques, and teaching methods for early childhood development Join us in creating a joyful, enriching environment where children can thrive!
