We are seeking someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals for children in a fast-paced preschool/daycare environment. Duties Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily Follow CACFP and childcare nutrition guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Clean and sanitize the cafeteria and dining areas daily Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment Manage food inventory and notify administration of supply needs Follow food allergy and dietary restriction procedures Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule Requirements Experience cooking in a childcare, school, restaurant, or similar setting preferred Must be dependable, organized, and able to multitask Ability to work independently Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Must pass required background checks Food Handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Supportive and positive work environment Weekday schedule No late nights Opportunity to make a difference in children's daily lives Paid Time Off and Holidays 401k plan Matching Reduced / Free childcare subject to availability Schedule Monday-Friday Approximately 7:30 AM
