AFTERCARE ATTENDANT (Part-Time)

Brazos Learning Montessori School is hiring a dependable and energetic Aftercare Attendant to support students at the end of the academic day. This role includes supervising children ages 6 weeks-6 years and assisting classroom guides with closing routines. The Aftercare Attendant shift will be from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children during aftercare hours Support guides with end-of-day transitions and light classroom tasks Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment Communicate professionally with families and administrative staff Compose clear and professional emails as needed

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma Prior childcare experience strongly preferred College courses in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Must pass a background check Must have or obtain Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification before independent supervision Montessori experience is a plus; training provided
