In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and promote developmental growth for children of various ages. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold the highest standards of childcare excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment. Duties Lead the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional growth. Supervise and support childcare staff, including classroom teachers, assistants, and caregivers, ensuring effective classroom management and behavior management strategies are in place. Oversee daily operations of the daycare or preschool, including enrollment, scheduling, and compliance with licensing regulations. Conduct regular classroom visits to monitor quality of care, provide coaching on classroom experience, toddler care, infant care, and special education practices. Maintain open communication with families, addressing concerns related to caregiving, developmental milestones, and behavior management. Ensure staff are trained in first aid, CPR, and other safety protocols to guarantee a secure environment for children with disabilities or special needs. Manage health and safety policies, sanitation standards, and emergency procedures in accordance with state licensing requirements. Requirements •Knowledge of CCS, CACFP, TRS, and TEFA Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities or special needs. Strong background in childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies. Classroom experience managing groups of children while implementing behavior management techniques effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff, foster teamwork, and promote professional growth. Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, staff members, and community partners. Knowledge of licensing regulations related to daycare centers or preschools in your area.
