Job Description

First Steps Montessori Learning Center is a beautiful Christian Montessori center located in south San Antonio. The center is non-profit and serves the local community, along with its campus. It has been awarded 3 Texas Rising Star stars and is in the works of achieving it's 4th! First Steps is located off of South 1604 West Loop and Highway 16/Palo Alto Rd. We are located near Somerset ISD! This is strictly a Christian campus so you have to be Christian in order to join our wonderful program!
Duties will include:
Ensuring staff, children, and families enjoy a safe and nurturing environment by creating a strong campus culture that embodies the mission of the center and Christian values Supervise day-to-day business, financial and physical plant operations. Recruit, manage, retain, and develop outstanding administrative and teaching staff who are committed to the mission of the center Provide instructional leadership and continuously improve center performance through staff development. Supervise and assist the admissions functions of the center including recruitment programs, internal marketing, external outreach, website development and maintenance, and leverage resources to enhance the center's mission and strategic objectives Manage CCS and Texas Rising Stars requirements, along with tuition through Brightwheel Requirements Director's certificate Associates or Bachelor Degree in Education At least two years working experience in a preschool, preferably in a Montessori environment CPR certification and any other health requirements as required by Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS) for licensing and certification Demonstrated competence in written and oral communication
