Full-time, approximately 60 hours per week. This is a mix of active time (feeding, errands, household tasks) and available time (present while baby naps, general household presence). Occasional late night or early morning help as needed. 1.5 to 2 days off per week. One full weekend off per month.

Reports To:
Household principal (the mother) About Us We are a young family in the Texas Hill Country who just welcomed a new baby. We also run a successful media/content business. Our household is active, positive, and fast-paced. We are looking for someone exceptional to join the family as our primary support system during this exciting chapter and beyond ❤ This is a permanent position that will grow and evolve as the baby does. The Role Above all, this role is for someone who is genuinely, naturally helpful. Not helpful because it's the job. Helpful because that's who they are. This is not a traditional nanny position. We are looking for a Family Assistant, a hybrid of infant caretaker, personal assistant, and household support. You are the person who makes everything run. Your primary responsibility is the baby. Your secondary responsibility is everything else that needs doing: errands, household tasks, meal prep, and general assistance with whatever is happening in the moment. The right person for this role is someone who is warm, capable, and fast. You see what needs to be done and you do it. You don't wait for instructions. You don't say "that's not my job." You take genuine pride in being the reason everything runs smoothly. You will be in a household where content creation happens. You do not need to be on camera, but you must be comfortable around cameras, equipment, and the general pace of an active creative household. Discretion is essential. Top Objectives and Responsibilities Infant care (primary) Ensure the baby is safe, healthy, fed, and on a consistent routine Handle all daily care: feeding, diaper changes, soothing, nap routines, bath time Monitor developmental milestones and flag anything that seems off Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for the baby Household support Grocery shopping and keeping the pantry stocked Laundry and general household upkeep Light meal prep for the family Running errands: pickups, drop-offs, returns, whatever needs doing Managing household logistics as needed (scheduling appointments, coordinating deliveries) General assistance Whatever else needs doing in the moment. Grabbing something from the store, tidying a space, helping with something work-adjacent because you are there and available. General problem-solving. Be the person who figures things out. Anticipate needs The best version of this role is someone who thinks ahead. They see the empty fridge, the thing that needs to be done tomorrow, the problem that hasn't been mentioned yet, and they handle it. Success Criteria (First 6 Months) Baby is thriving. Healthy, on a routine, well cared for. The household principal feels genuinely supported and less overwhelmed. Household runs smoothly without needing to manage every detail. You anticipate needs instead of waiting to be told. Zero drama, zero ego, zero friction. What We're Looking For hands-on infant/newborn care experience (not babysitting, but primary caretaker experience) CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to certify before start date) Positive, solution-oriented personality. Your instinct when a problem comes up is "here's what we can do." Physically active and health-conscious. We value wellness, working out, and eating well. This is a core part of our household culture and we are looking for someone who shares that lifestyle naturally. Comfortable being around cameras and content creation (you will not be on camera unless you want to be) Reliable, consistent, and calm under pressure A clear, concise communicator. You say what you mean and don't leave things vague. Someone who genuinely finds fulfillment in taking care of people and making things run Must pass a background check Must sign an NDA A Typical Day Might Look Like 7:00am Baby wakes up. Morning feeding and diaper change. 8:00am Light breakfast prep while baby plays or rests. 9:00am Baby goes down for a nap. Start a load of laundry. Check if anything needs to be picked up or dropped off. 10:00am Baby is up. Playtime, tummy time, developmental activities. 11:30am Grocery run while baby naps or rides along. 1:00pm Lunch. Feeding the baby. Light meal prep for the family. 2:00pm Afternoon nap. Fold laundry, tidy the kitchen, handle any errands or tasks that came up. 3:30pm Baby is up. Outdoor time if weather permits. 5:00pm Evening feeding. Bath time. Wind-down routine. 6:30pm Baby is settled for the evening. Wrap up any remaining tasks. 7:00pm Off for the evening (unless pre-arranged otherwise). Not every day looks the same. The schedule flexes around the baby's needs and whatever else is happening.
