Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, people-first leader to step into the Assistant Director role. This isn't just about managing logistics; it's about shaping the culture. You will be the welcoming face, the steady hand, and the daily inspiration that ensures our families, teachers, and children feel supported and valued every single day. What You'll Champion As our Assistant Director, you will own the daily rhythm and positive energy of our center:
Daily Flow & Operations:
Masterfully manage classroom schedules, optimize staffing, and drive enrollment.
Team Mentorship:
Recruit, train, and champion a brilliant team of educators, actively supporting their professional milestones.
Parent Partnerships:
Serve as the go-to ambassador for our families, building deep trust and maintaining a vibrant, thriving community.
Gold-Standard Safety:
Ensure state licensing standards aren't just met, but serve as our baseline for excellence.
The Right Hand:
Stand ready to steer the ship confidently and seamlessly run the center in the Director's absence. What You Bring to the Table (Our Core Requirements) We are looking for a collaborative leader who models positive guidance and brings a calm, confident presence to our team. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education (ECE). A minimum of a CDA, NAC, or equivalent credential, plus completed Bureau of Child Care Licensing coursework. Outstanding communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to make sound, compassionate decisions under pressure. Ability to lift to 40 lbs and obtain/maintain First Aid/CPR certification (we will gladly provide the training!).
