House Manager/Nanny- Great Falls, VA

Compensation:

$35-$50/hr | 30 hrs/week guaranteed ($54K-$78K)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 12:00pm-6:00pm (Flexibility required, especially during September + October)

ASAP, ideally by June 8th About the Family/Role Warm, active, and fast-paced family seeking a highly proactive household manager/nanny. Parents both work outside of the home and are looking for someone who enjoys supporting a busy, collaborative household. Mom will be deployed for periods of time, making this role especially important in maintaining consistency, organization, and structure within the home. The family currently employs an au pair who assists with morning childcare coverage and logistics, and grandparents occasionally assist with transportation support. The children are highly active in basketball, soccer, and extracurricular activities and attend three different schools. Family vehicle is available for use during working hours. Family has one mini Goldendoodle + one cat. No regular travel required. Responsibilities Afternoon/evening support for four school-aged children Coordinating schedules, activities + logistics Driving support as needed Meal planning + healthy meal preparation Grocery shopping + household errands Kitchen tidying + children's laundry Household organization + inventory management Coordinating vendors, contractors + vehicle maintenance Communication/collaboration with au pair regarding schedules + logistics General household support to keep daily operations running smoothly Requirements School-aged childcare experience required Bachelor's degree preferred Strong household management + organizational skills Excellent communication + collaboration skills Highly proactive, adaptable + initiative-driven Comfortable working independently with minimal direction Valid driver's license Excellent references from previous families Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays Healthcare stipend Family vehicle provided for on-the-job use
