Job Description
A warm and welcoming family in Reston, VA is seeking a caring, energetic part-time nanny for their imaginative and playful 3-year-old daughter beginning in July 2026. If you enjoy building forts, creating arts and crafts, hosting tea parties with stuffed animals, exploring playgrounds, and bringing a child's imagination to life, this may be the perfect role for you! Their curious and creative daughter loves pretend play, outdoor walks, and dreaming up new adventures. The family is looking for a nanny who has a least 2 -5 years of experience, genuinely enjoys engaging with children, can follow her lead in imaginative play, and has the energy to keep up with her fast-paced world. Bonus (But Not Required): The family would love to connect with a caregiver who speaks Bangla. They would also welcome someone who is comfortable supporting age-appropriate Islamic practices, such as simple duas, stories, or surahs, as part of the child's daily routine. Schedule Approximately 5 hours per day 3 days per week Preferred days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, though any combination of three weekdays between Monday and Thursday may work Typical hours are between 9:30 AM and 3:00/4:00 PM When school resumes in September, a similar schedule of 4-5 hours per day, three days per week will continue. Responsibilities Spend your days playing, creating, exploring, and caring for an energetic 3-year-old while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Both parents work from home, so the ideal nanny is comfortable partnering with a family in a remote-work household. This position offers a competitive compensation package along with benefits including guaranteed hours, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, sick days, and vacation time.
