Part-Time Nanny Position Smithfield, Virginia 20+ Hours Per Week | $27-$30 per Hour The Williamsburg Nanny Agency is currently assisting a warm and professional family in Smithfield to search for an experienced, nurturing, and engaging part-time nanny for their three daughters. The family is seeking a caregiver who is energetic, proactive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children through imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and meaningful connection. About the Family This welcoming family has three daughters ages 9, 6 and 2 who love to play, explore, swim and do fun crafts and activities such as going to the local park and library. Both parents work from home in dedicated office spaces and are looking for a nanny who can confidently take the lead during the day and create a calm, engaging, and dependable environment for the children. Schedule The family requires a minimum of 20 hours per week .

Preferred schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Approximately 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM However, the family is willing to remain flexible for the right long-term fit. Compensation $27/hour when caring for the youngest child only $30/hour when caring for all three children This is considered an excellent compensation package for the Smithfield area and reflects the family's desire to hire a highly qualified and reliable professional nanny. Responsibilities Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities Encouraging imaginative play and creativity Arts and crafts Outdoor play and adventures Supervising outings to libraries, playgrounds, and the neighborhood pool Preparing children's lunches and snacks Cleaning up after activities and meals Tidying children's spaces and managing children's dishes Maintaining open, professional communication with parents Supporting established routines and household expectations The family will provide use of a family vehicle for outings and activities. Ideal Candidate The ideal nanny will be: Warm, nurturing, and genuinely engaging Energetic and proactive Comfortable caring for multiple children of varying ages A strong swimmer Experienced with toddlers and school-aged children Creative and playful Professional and dependable An excellent communicator Safety-conscious with strong judgment Able to work independently while parents work from home Qualifications Candidates should have: At least 3-5 years of professional childcare experience Experience with toddlers and elementary-aged children CPR and First Aid Certification A valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong professional references Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
