Job Description

Job Summary S eeking an energetic and dedicated Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional childcare and household support for a busy family. This role combines nurturing child-focused care with efficient household management, ensuring a safe, organized, and joyful environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive atmosphere while managing daily household operations seamlessly. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences. Engage children in educational activities such as teaching basic skills, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate games to promote learning and growth. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning children's spaces, laundry, organizing toys and supplies to maintain a tidy environment. Administer first aid when necessary and handle emergency situations with calm professionalism. Assist with potty training, diapering, and other caregiving tasks while demonstrating patience and compassion. Manage household errands such as grocery shopping, scheduling appointments, coordinating activities, and overseeing household staff if applicable. Work with individuals with disabilities or special needs by providing tailored support and care to ensure comfort and inclusion. Experience Prior experience in nannying or childcare roles with a strong background in caring for infants through preschool-aged children. Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred. Experience working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus. Proven ability to manage household tasks efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment. Familiarity with meal preparation for children of various dietary requirements. Previous daycare or babysitting experience that highlights reliability, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.
