• Part-time, Full-time Job Summary The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.

This leadership role involves managing staff, developing curriculum, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of both children and staff. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of the child care program, including staffing, budgeting, and curriculum development. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care operations. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality care and education. Foster positive relationships with families and the community to promote engagement and support. Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to address individual learning needs. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children by adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Skills Strong educational background with a degree from a recognized university in early childhood education or related field. Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in child care or early childhood education. Background in higher education teaching is advantageous for curriculum development and staff training. Knowledge of education administration principles to effectively manage operations within the facility. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, parents, and community members. Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team of educators.
