• 40/hour (DOE) About the Family A growing family is seeking a highly experienced, calm, and dependable nanny to support the arrival of their newborn baby girl and provide care for their 4.

5-year-old son. Care is primarily focused on the newborn as the son is in school. Their son is energetic, social, and will be in school. He benefits from a structured, patient, and nurturing approach, including ongoing support related to speech development. The household also includes a friendly 120-lb Malamute who spends most of his time outdoors. Ideal Candidate The family is looking for a mature, gentle-but-firm professional nanny who is confident caring for both newborn and preschool-aged children in a structured, Montessori-informed environment.

Preferred Experience:

Montessori or child-led learning background strongly preferred Extensive newborn and infant care experience Experience supporting preschool-aged children, including developmental or speech-related needs Comfortable around dogs

Calm, proactive, and emotionally steady under pressure Strong, clear communicator (daily updates with photos encouraged) Highly organized and able to anticipate household and child needs Key Responsibilities Childcare (Primary Focus): Infant care (feeding, sleep routines, developmental support) Engaging, developmentally appropriate care for preschool-aged child Montessori-inspired activities and use of learning tools School drop-off/pick-up and daily routine management once pre-K begins Support with speech development through consistent interaction and patience

Light Household Support:

Children's laundry Tidying play areas and nursery spaces Light dishes and cleanup related to the children Pet Support (Light): Occasional walks and basic care for family dog Coordination with family for pet-related needs as required Additional Details Open to occasional travel during school breaks Respectful, organized household with a home office for privacy needs Strong emphasis on long-term fit and stability during newborn transition DMV screening must have good driving record
