We are seeking dynamic and energetic Destination Care Nannies to join our network for short-term travel assignments in the area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support families on the go, ensuring their children's needs are met with professionalism, warmth, and expertise. As a Destination Care Nanny, you will deliver personalized childcare services tailored to each family's unique routines, while maintaining a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Your enthusiasm for child development and travel will help families feel confident and supported during their journeys. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities aligned with each child's schedule Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary needs and preferences Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, games, and outings that promote learning and development Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored care plans and working collaboratively with families Supervise outings to tourist attractions in the Seattle Area (if applicable) Experience Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare assistant, or teaching positions Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in diverse settings including daycare centers or private homes Knowledge of child development milestones and age-specific needs for infants through adolescence. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to adapt quickly to new environments while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Education and Requirements:
Valid Portable Background Check issued through Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families. CPR and First aid trained Completion of
STARS 30
hours (Childcare Basics) training Food Handler's Card Proof of MMR vaccine TB test within the last 12 months or willing to get one Join our network of Destination Care Nannies for high paying, short term jobs
