$35-$40/hour An exceptional, warm, and kind family in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their happy, curious toddler. They are looking for someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of their parenting team—someone who is nurturing, engaged, and genuinely enjoys helping children learn and grow. Their son is an active, independent toddler who loves music, books, cars, and airplanes. He thrives with hands-on play, and opportunities to explore the world around him. The family values creativity, outdoor time, and developmentally appropriate activities. The ideal nanny is organized, proactive, highly communicative, detail-oriented, and comfortable with direct, transparent communication. They are looking for someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and enjoys building a collaborative relationship with the family. Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive care for an active toddler Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development Support potty training when the time comes Drive to activities, outings, and appointments as needed (mileage reimbursed) Manage child laundry and keep children's spaces clean and organized Tidy common areas throughout the day Run occasional errands such as grocery or diaper runs and ordering household essentials Assist with light meal preparation and possible light cooking Follow the family's health and safety routines, including allergy protocols (training provided) Ideal Candidate Warm, nurturing, and dependable Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Excellent communicator who values honesty and transparency Comfortable taking initiative while collaborating closely with parents Enjoys creating enriching, screen-free activities Comfortable driving as part of the position Benefits Guaranteed 40+ hours Standard PTO package Mileage reimbursement This family values kindness, mutual respect, professionalism, and open communication.
