Full-Time Methodist Pastor (GMC)

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Pastor to lead and nurture our faith community. This vital role involves providing spiritual guidance, delivering inspiring sermons, and fostering a welcoming environment for all members. The Pastor will serve as a spiritual leader, mentor, and counselor, actively engaging with congregants to support their spiritual growth and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through dynamic leadership, compassionate care, and effective communication. Duties Deliver engaging sermons and Biblical teachings that resonate with diverse audiences, inspiring faith and community involvement Provide Christian counseling and bereavement support to individuals and families during times of grief or crisis Lead worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies and special events that strengthen community bonds and promotes spiritual maturity Offer mentorship and spiritual guidance to congregation members of all ages, fostering personal growth and faith development Encourage and participate in community outreach programs, events, and ministries within the church body and community Manage crisis intervention efforts with sensitivity and professionalism during emergencies or conflicts within the congregation Develop and deliver presentations on spiritual topics using strong presentation skills to educate and motivate the community Qualifications Proven experience in pastoral leadership within a Christian setting, with a strong foundation in Wesleyan beliefs Excellent public speaking, presentation, and communication skills that engage diverse audiences effectively Strong writing skills for sermon preparation, newsletters, and educational materials Compassionate demeanor with the ability to provide bereavement support and hospice care when needed Leadership qualities that inspire trust, mentorship skills for guiding others spiritually, and conflict management expertise Relevant theological education or ordination recognized by the Global Methodist Church denomination The ability to catch the vision God has laid out for the church and lead the church in the continued forward movement Join us in this rewarding role where your leadership will inspire faith, foster community resilience, and bring hope to those we serve. Pay:

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

We believe we are here to minister to, encourage, and witness to our military community. Our Anchors of Hope ministry team is actively involved in providing food to the homeless and less fortunate in our area. Our garden team uses our property to grow food for the Anchors of Hope outreach and our congregational needs. Several members are involved in the New Life addiction recovery program in Enterprise.
