  • Part-time The role of the Minister of Youth at Crystal Hill Baptist Church is to minister to the youth of Crystal Hill Baptist Church.
The role of this position is to love Jesus above all else, and nurture their personal walk with Him first and foremost. Secondly, they are to love God's people and have a calling and desire to lead them in the ways of the Lord. The Minister of Youth will be responsible for teaching students on Wednesday nights, Sunday School, and all other times where this is called for and needed. The Minister of Youth at Crystal Hill Baptist Church will be responsible for overseeing the youth ministry of the church. Their job will be to coordinate all youth events and work with the pastor to carry out the ministry of the church.
Supervision:
The Minister of Youth will be supervised by the Senior Pastor. Qualifications Must be a follower of the Lord Jesus, according to Luke 9:23. Meet the qualifications of a pastor, according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. College degree is preferred (preferably a ministry-focused degree). Previous ministry experience is preferred. Adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Job Duties & Responsibilities Teach students on Wednesday nights. Teach Youth Sunday School. Plan and carry out frequent youth events (Friday Night Hangouts, Church Camp, Bowling, etc.). Lead all youth events. Preach when asked to. Work with committees. Serve with the pastor/staff to carry out the mission of Crystal Hill Baptist Church. Attend church-related events. Provide leadership. Expectation The expectation for the Youth Pastor at Crystal Hill Baptist Church is to lead student ministries. He is to be gospel-minded and people-focused. He must love the Lord and love His people. He must be called by God. He is to demonstrate Godliness in his words, actions, and service. He is to have a servant's heart, and in all things, fulfill 1 Corinthians 10:31.
