Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to join our ministry team. The Youth Pastor will play a vital role in guiding and mentoring young individuals in their spiritual journey, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for youth to grow in their faith. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to Christian values, and the ability to connect with youth through various programs and activities. Echo Church is a smaller church (50-60) and thus a confident leader that can help build the youth program is needed. Duties Develop and implement engaging youth programs that promote spiritual growth and community involvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to youth, helping them navigate personal challenges and deepen their faith. Conduct regular Bible studies, workshops, and educational sessions tailored for young individuals. Offer Christian counseling and support during times of crisis, including bereavement support and crisis intervention. Collaborate with parents and church leaders to create a cohesive approach to youth ministry. Organize events, retreats, and outreach activities that encourage participation and foster relationships among youth. Present sermons or teachings during youth services, utilizing public speaking skills to effectively communicate messages. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all youth participants. Engage the community and promote youth and church functions to nearby youth Requirements Proven leadership experience in a church or community setting, particularly with youth groups. Strong mentoring abilities with a focus on building relationships with young individuals. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present engagingly to diverse audiences. A deep understanding of Christian teachings and the ability to educate others on these principles. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with youth from various backgrounds. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all youth members.
