Our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized end-of-life care that honors the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every patient and family we serve. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Chaplain to join our interdisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to make a profound difference by providing spiritual support, comfort, and guidance to patients and families during life's most meaningful moments. Responsibilities Provide spiritual care and emotional support to hospice patients and their families, regardless of religious affiliation or beliefs. Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized plans of care. Offer prayer, counseling, life review, and bereavement support as appropriate. Coordinate with community clergy and faith organizations when requested by patients and families. Participate as an active member of the hospice interdisciplinary team. Document visits and interventions in the electronic medical record. Support staff and volunteers with education and emotional support related to end-of-life care. Qualifications Ordained minister, chaplain, or spiritual leader with appropriate ecclesiastical endorsement preferred. Previous hospice, palliative care, healthcare, or pastoral care experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to minister respectfully to individuals from diverse faith traditions and cultural backgrounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Why Join Catalina Hospice?
