From $42,000.00 per year Job description: Youth Ministry Pastor +
POSITION FOCUS:
Purpose of Position:
Assisting the elders, leaders, and parents of Restored Church in creating and sustaining a healthy community of gospel transformation through the Youth Ministry. +
POSITION DETAILS:
Leading, Planning +
Vision Casting:
  • Continually praying and seeking God's heart for his direction on how best to serve our youth and families
  • Casting vision to the volunteers and parents of God's heart for his kids and the importance and joy of serving
Sunday Mornings:
  • Leading the 6th-12th grade students in a time of fun, short teaching or video, and small groups from 11am-12:30am
Evening Gathering:
  • One night each week (TBD) from 6:30-8:30pm you will lead the 6th-12th grade students in a time of food, fun, teaching, and small groups Volunteer Coordinating +
Discipling:
  • Coordinating with volunteers, making sure there are at least two additional male and female leaders for the morning. Administration + Planning
  • Monthly emails to parents to help keep them informed and better equipped to disciple their kids based on what has been taught on Sundays
  • Meeting with and equipping new youth volunteers
  • Completing background checks for all new volunteers through Planning Center. Personal Development + Training
  • Meet monthly with Lead Pastor for personal check-in, discipleship and development
  • Develop and maintain personal spiritual disciplines: Bible reading, prayer, meditation, etc.
  • Complete training materials as assigned: books, articles, podcasts, etc. Weekly/Monthly Hours
  • About 30 hours per week
Special Events:

    Staff Retreats:
    3 days a year
      Youth Camps:
      5-10 day a year Pay, Compensation + Commitment
      • Starting at $3,500 a month
      • You will also be reimbursed up to $100 a month on coffees or lunches with Restored Youth leaders and students.
      • A commitment of being in this role for at least two years to help build consistency in the lives of our students and families.
