Job Description

This is a casual/per diem, day shift position supporting the Palliative Care Services department at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The hours for this position will be around 15 hours per week.
Position Areas of Emphasis:
Participate in palliative care goals of care patient/family meetings as a fully integrated chaplain team member. Participate in daily palliative care IDT rounds. Conduct a complete bio-psychospiritual patient/family assessment as part of a family conference and/or separate patient/family meeting. Collaborate with the palliative care team in developing a spiritual care plan as an essential component of the plan of care. Facilitate team growth and team care activities to support team health.
