WORSHIP / YOUTH LEADER POSITION

About us: We are an active and multi-generational church located in Rio Vista. Rio Vista is a nice community with a population of approximately 9,000 people located along the Sacramento River between San Fransico and Sacramento. We are committed to seeing people Respond to Christ, Be Renewed in Christ Daily and Reach Out to the community around them . Currently our church attendance is approximately 110 people per week.

Negotiable with housing included (We own a beautiful 3 bed 2 bathroom home)

Job Description:

Worship Leader:

As the worship leader your primary responsibility will be to guide and lead our congregation in vibrant/exciting Sunday morning praise and worship. Must be led by the Holy Spirit. Lead a midweek practice. Develop and train new worship team members. Lead the team with clarity with direction, but also allow input and suggestions Learn and help with basic tech ministry. Such as sound board and ProPresenter.

Youth Leader:

As our youth leader you play the important role in spiritual development of our jr high and high school age students. You will provide guidance and mentorship as our students grow in their Spiritual life. Lead a weekly 1 hour minimum youth gathering. Be involved in community outreach to Rio Vista youth. Be involved with our local JrHigh / Highschool Build a relationship with all students and parents of ReChurch. Grow and develop a team of youth volunteers. Have fun and be creative.

Qualifications:

A growing relationship with Jesus. A qualified life that honors the Lord that is committed to Christian values. An agreement with the doctrine and beliefs of ReChurch and the Assemblies of God. Someone either credentialed or working on becoming credentialed through the Assemblies of God.

A team player:

someone not offended if corrected / someone not afraid to speak up with an idea. Be on time and ready always being respectful of others time. Outgoing personalities of both yourself and your spouse.
