The Children's Ministry Director brings strength to Village Church through leadership and administrative oversight of the Children's Ministry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to to the following: Leadership Serve as leader of Children's Ministry. Accountable to ensure vision of Lead Pastor is executed, in excellence, week after week. Responsible for overseeing and managing all Children's ministry staff and volunteers. Must peacefully resolve issues with Children in Sunday services, or issues with staff / volunteers in Sunday services, as needed. Administrative Oversee weekly and monthly scheduling of all Children's Ministry volunteers. Secure back - up volunteers when others "call out". Oversee creation of Sunday morning curriculum, by working with Lead Pastor to determine content of lesson, and creating or delegating of lesson formation each week. Create, or oversee creation of Sunday morning crafts each week. Host ongoing trainings for current volunteers. Conduct interviews for new volunteers. Lead trainings for new volunteers. Recruit new volunteers as needed. Oversee new volunteers in on - boarding process Application / background check Interview Training Assist with special events. Qualifications:

Familiarity with Church software (Planning Center). Humble attitude; willing to take direction, and execute directives with good attitude. Flexible; able to adapt to changes without becoming frustrated / overwhelmed. Lifestyle that can be considered "above reproach" by all. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to provide strong leadership when asked. Not easily offended. Reliable; does what they say they will do. Accountable; does not make excuses. Strong attention to detail. Become member of

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
