Our growing, local Chinese church is seeking a dedicated Youth Minister to mentor and disciple our middle and high schoolers. You'll lead engaging programs, foster spiritual growth, and facilitate a couple monthly weekday gatherings for youth from diverse backgrounds. Come help us inspire and equip our young people! Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic youth programs that promote spiritual growth, community involvement, and personal development. Lead bi-weekly youth group meetings, retreats, and special events with enthusiasm and clarity. Provide Christian counseling and mentorship to support youth through personal challenges, including grief or loss. Collaborate with parents, church staff, and community organizations to coordinate activities and outreach initiatives. Facilitate educational sessions on topics such as faith, morals, social issues, and life skills tailored for young audiences. Skills Strong leadership abilities with experience in Biblical teaching or mentoring youth in faith-based settings. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, teenagers, parents, and community partners. Proven event planning skills for organizing retreats, camps, service projects, and outreach activities. Compassionate Christian counseling skills combined with the ability to provide emotional support during difficult times. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to inspire the next generation through faith-based leadership, compassionate mentorship, and vibrant program development.
