White Chapel Church Position Summary The Worship Pastor at White Chapel Church will lead our congregation in Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship that is both authentic and engaging. This role is responsible for cultivating a culture of worship through music, prayer, and creativity that aligns with the church's mission and theology. The Worship Pastor will oversee the planning and execution of Sunday worship services, lead and develop a volunteer worship team, and work closely with the Lead Pastor to shape the overall worship experience. Key Responsibilities Worship Leadership & Service Planning Lead worship vocally and/or instrumentally for Sunday services and special events Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan Christ-exalting, Scripture-saturated worship gatherings Select songs that are theologically sound, singable, and aligned with the church's identity Coordinate service flow, transitions, and creative elements (readings, visuals, etc.) Support Warner Christian Academy chapel worship teams Team Development & Volunteer Coordination Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members and musicians Create a culture of unity, humility, and excellence among the team Provide regular communication, rehearsals, and development opportunities Production & Technology Oversight Oversee sound, media, livestream, and lighting components of the worship service (with volunteer support) Ensure song charts, tracks, and service plans are organized and distributed using tools like Planning Center or similar Collaborate with tech volunteers to maintain and improve equipment and systems Spiritual & Church Integration Foster a worship culture that extends beyond music and into the lives of the congregation Encourage multi-generational participation and engagement in worship Support church-wide events and contribute to the broader ministry vision Social Media and Communications Collaborate with staff to ensure worship-related content (e.g., sermon series graphics, service recaps, music highlights) is communicated clearly and creatively across platforms Provide media and promotional support for church events, sermon series, and ministry initiatives as needed Help develop and maintain a consistent online presence that reflects the heart and mission of White Chapel Church Contribute to content creation for social media, email updates, and Sunday visuals in coordination with the ministry team Support the livestream team to ensure an excellent digital worship experience Qualifications A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ A clear calling to worship ministry Strong vocal and/or instrumental leadership ability Proficiency with modern worship music and styles, with appreciation for historic expressions of worship Comfortable with or willing to learn worship planning and tech platforms (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter, DAW software, etc.) Experience leading teams and organizing worship services Agreement with the beliefs, vision, and values of White Chapel Church Degree in music, theology, or ministry-related field preferred (not required)

Position Details Hours:

20-40 hours/week depending on candidate's availability and fit

Compensation:

$30,000•50,000 annually (negotiable based on time commitment and experience)
