Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Children's Ministry Attendant Marvin United Methodist Church - Martinez, GA Part-Time | $40 per appearance | Sunday Mornings + Occasional Special Events Marvin United Methodist Church is seeking a compassionate and responsible Children's Ministry Attendant to join our ministry team! This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, values a nurturing church environment, and desires to make a difference in the lives of young families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, engaging, and age-appropriate care for children during worship and special events Lead children in stories, crafts, games, and prayer Ensure all children are released to a responsible adult at pick-up Collaborate with fellow staff and volunteers to create a caring and joyful environment Follow Safe Sanctuaries protocols and maintain a clean, welcoming space
Qualifications:
Experience working with children preferred Friendly, dependable, and patient Willing to obtain CPR certification and complete Safe Sanctuaries training High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation:
$40 per appearance (approx. 2 hours per week) Additional opportunities to serve during special services and events throughout the year Supportive church staff and opportunities for growth If you have a heart for children and a spirit for ministry, we'd love to meet you!
